PPP project in 7th Forum of PPP

Ouffson Advisory is proud to have recently participated in the International Forum on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in Athens, a premier event that brings together public sector leaders, private investors, financial institutions and development experts. Held in the Greek capital, the forum addressed the challenges and opportunities around financing infrastructure and public services through innovative partnerships.

The forum was an exceptional opportunity to discuss strategies to address infrastructure gaps, while promoting sustainable and responsible practices. Large-scale projects in the energy, transport, health and education sectors were at the heart of the discussions.

Focus on Sustainable Development
Another key moment was the workshop on sustainable PPPs, where we discussed how partnerships can integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria to ensure sustainable outcomes. We looked at how green projects, such as renewable energy or low-carbon infrastructure, can be financed and implemented in collaboration with local authorities and investors.

Building Public-Private Trust
One of the aims of the forum was to strengthen the links between the public and private sectors, by encouraging greater transparency and strong governance mechanisms to ensure balanced partnerships. We participated in constructive discussions on the importance of clarity on roles, responsibilities and benefits for each stakeholder in PPP projects.
